TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration)

In TESA, the needle is introduced in the testicle itself. In TESE, the semeni-ferous tubules along with the sperm are recovered surgically.

Indications are

  • Congenital bilateral absence of the vas deferens (CBAVD).
  • Obstructive azoospermia
  • Non-obstructive azoospermia
  • Anejaculation.
  • Retrograde ejaculation.
