The process of giving birth is complex and hence several pregnancy complications are observed. Many carrying women have this common question in their mind: "What are the problems during pregnancy?". Almost all women have some concern regarding the amount of bleeding during pregnancy. It is natural to have vaginal bleeding during the 1st trimester, however as time progresses it may be seen as a sign of a complication of pregnancy. However, a heavy bleeding may be an early pregnancy problem. The complications during pregnancy include anemia, depression, ectopic pregnancy, fetal problems etc. While some of these problems during pregnancy can be prevented through medications, others require immediate surgical intervention. One such problem during pregnancy is the lack of healthy RBCs or anemia. Folic acid and iron supplements are taken in to manage this condition. Many women also encounter some or other problem after pregnancy. Excessive bleeding, pain in perineal region, infections etc are some of these health problems. Pregnancy can be made a smooth procedure if adequate medical attention is given in the right time.
