First Trimester


Pregnancy care during the first trimester is important. The first trimester of pregnancy refers to the initial 3 months of gestation. This is important because most women experience pregnancy cramps. First-trimester cramping can be experienced in thighs, legs & feet. It is observed that almost 1 in 4 women experience first trimester bleeding. Among the other first trimester symptoms, spotting in the first trimester may also be experienced. First trimester spotting refers to uterine bleeding during the first trimester weeks. The first-trimester pregnancy symptoms are to be dealt seriously, without which they can lead to conditions like first-trimester miscarriage. In the worse case, it can lead to first-trimester abortion. Therefore, a comprehensive first-trimester screening is to be done to rule out/diagnose such problems. One of the methods of managing these problems is by having a balanced pregnancy diet. First trimester period should obtain all the essential nutrients for the mother & the fetus. For increasing the strength of muscles, it is necessary to do exercise during pregnancy. The first trimester is the period in which the carrying woman starts experiencing the weight of fetus. Therefore, related first trimester workouts can be helpful.
